This topic came to mind as it occurred to me that there are a few people, places or events people associate me for various reasons. The great thing about those associations is they are all positive, based on things I’ve done and where I should be. Check out the few main things and people associate me with.
Oprah Winfrey
This is flattering. I’m told that I will be on her show or should I have my own show. Either way, it’s great to be thought so highly of. I am waiting for my turn, though.
Donald Trump
I have been told that I should be on The Apprentice. Unfortunately, the candidates don’t get paid for the 12 weeks they are on. However, if I can shadow the Donster those 12-weeks, I’ll be the best student ever. This would include mentoring and his connections.
Community Block Party
I coordinated and threw three block club parties for my community. They were all nice. I’m not saying that because I did most of the work. I’m saying it because that was the only day that most of the neighbors came out and actually met each other; we fed the children whether they lived on the block or not; we had generational music which was quite interesting, and it was just a great time. I haven’t had a block party in a couple years and people always ask me if I’m having one. I may do it this year.
Roller Skating
Anyone who knows me know that I have to get my skate on at least once a week. I don’t miss a beat.
