I went to Zondra Hughes’ book signing for her new book, Living the Ebony Life: E-mails from the Plantation, at Azizi Books in Lincoln Mall today. She asked me when my book is coming out. I told her by the of this year.
I didn’t lie. I just didn’t know when exactly. But, putting that information in the Universe means I have to put my pen in gear.
So, I’m going to pull out my notes after I finish my two stories for How They Living, my speech for Toastmasters and my sketch for class next week. All of this should be done by the end of the day tomorrow. I’m going into next week with new projects and a new mission.
