I know this is a very random question, but I would like to know. Which social media story have you heard of or read that epitomizes the dumbest people?
My favorite story was about the woman who lost over half her alimony benefits because her ex-husband read about her belly dancing on her blog. According to the Law Office of Nancy L. Sponselle:
The woman claimed that she chose to belly dance as a form of physical therapy for her injuries, but the judge was not persuaded in her argument. As a result, the judge reduced the woman’s monthly alimony payments from $850 to $400. The woman has also been ordered to pay for her ex-husband’s legal fees regarding the case, and the man will receive 60 percent from the sale of the couple’s home.
