I do want to leave you with a few thoughts. In order to control your content and messages and to get paid for blogging, you have to OWN your site. WordPress.com is a great way to get started, but there are many limitations including the ability to upload audio and video files for free and the opportunity to earn money. Even if you are blogging on another platform, I would still encourage you to have a self-hosted site so you can have COMPLETE control over your site from design to content to promotion.
