As I get closer to launching and presenting my new event casting service, I find that I am stressing myself out. This is NOT good.
I was thinking about the marketing materials I need as well as the words needed to present my service to prospects. After tripping for a full 30 minutes, I realized that I already have everything I need; I just have to pull it all together. My newest pal, Dequiana Brooks, the founder of Inspired Graphics Media, have spent countless hours listening to and helping me brainstorm. So, I’m going through files to make it all happen. Ahhh, less stress.
Let me share one particular incident. I have to sell prospects on the benefits of the service. I was going over in mind the aspects of the service that would really sell what I do. After resting my mind, I realized that the article that I want to post on Mashable, the largest online social media guide, has all of the answers to that question. What a relief!
However, there is still a bit of pressure to write a business plan for my new service within a 2 – 3 week period (it doesn’t haven’t be perfect; it just has to be practical). There is a blessing in knowing that I have everyone and everything I need at my fingertips – keyboard or phone pad – to make it all happen.
So, I am 50% less stressed for now, and will be in a better place after the plan is done. There is an upside to this though: I will be THE best business plan writer I know after this plan. Remember, I wrote the business plan for the Miller Coors Business Plan Writing Contest in October within six weeks.
I am going to continue to de-stress myself now. Thanks for listening.
Good luck! Keep us posted.:-)
Thanks! I sure will.
