Let me start by saying that I have been with Sprint for over 10 years and, overall, I’m cool with the service minus the dropped calls. But I must tell you why they’re on some bull****
My phone was stolen in Vegas while I was attending #NMX, right? So, I called Sprint to find out my replacement options, which were pretty crappy.
- Pay a $150 deductible to get a replacement phone through the insurance program. So, I have to pay that deductible even though I have my monthly payment. And I can the exact same phone IF it’s available.
- If I purchase a phone from a retailer, which would be cheaper, I would still have to get the current model because of the contract. I can’t upgrade until April 2014. Now, that right there is some bull****!
- If there are other options, no one told me.
I’m phone-less in Chicago but I cannot get the newest model at a cheaper rate because of my contract. I feel like I’m being held hostage by this company. What’s jacked up is that all cell phone companies have some clause that holds their customers hostage.
Anyway, that’s my beef and that is why I feel like Sprint is on some bull****.
