First, I will be taking Adobe classes through the Workforce Investment Act. What does that mean? FREE!
Second, I am going to start researching my target market for The Write Design Company tomorrow. There are un-tapped markets waiting for me.
Third, I’m enjoying comedy writing more this session. I think it is because we have to put ourselves in our writing.
Fourth, I am finally getting paid for my writing. I edited True Elegance Magazine and am contributing to How They Living Ain’t No Joke.
Fifth, I did my first career day today, and I was quite pleased. I know to be more interactive next time, but I know I left the students with bits of nuggets to take with them.
Sixth, my training at CAN TV begins next month. I’m loving the show idea I have. I need to sit down and write things out. I expect to begin my show in July. In the meantime, I have to make plans to get into all of the communities on the south side of Chicago really soon. I’m going to start with the libraries. I’m looking forward to it.
Seventh, I am going to win a business plan writing contest this year. This time I’m going to be ready. I already have an idea; I just need to research it and provide more details.
Eighth, I need to learn how to write grants. I have lots of research projects that need to be funded, so now is a great time to start.
Ninth, it’s time to put a little more effort into writing my book. Since Zondra Hughes asked me about it on Saturday, and I responded that it will be done this year, it’s time to make it happen.
Tenth, I am excited about having all my blogs on point. While this one is cool, I have to make sure that there is a post on Shorty daily and weekly posts on The Write Design Company and As NOT Seen on TV. So far, so good.
Well, I’m going now. I have to do my homework for comedy writing and write my speech for Toastmasters. I feel so accomplished!
