Review of Lumen5

I was introduced to Lumen5 by members of two Facebook groups to which I belong. They sang the praises of this program and I had to check it out. I would give the free version four out of five stars. Here’s why.

The Coolness of Lumen5 – Free Version

1. The fact that they offer a free version.
2. The program automatically pulls information from your blog posts and creates videos. Thus, while you are sleeping, the program is working for you.
3. You have the option to copy and paste content from a post to create a video or create a custom video.
4. It’s easy to use.
5. They offer free images and music or you can upload your own.
6. It’s automatically repurposing your blog content for you.

The Not-So-Coolness of Lumen5 – Free Version

1. The videos are 60% accurate, which isn’t bad considering the program is trying to figure stuff out.
2. You are limited in fonts and some functionality. But hey, it’s free.

Overall, I think it’s a great tool for creating videos from exisiting content and it’s working while you’re sleeping. Here are some videos that have been created by Lumen5. Click on the images to watch the videos.
