My team – Marki Lemons, Toure Muhammad and Scott Stewart – and I had a blast during our presentation, Social Media 101 for Nonprofit Organizations, for Social Media Week Chicago 2013. As you can see, we had a full house. And I’m certain we kept them engaged as we asked questions and allowed the attendees to ask and answer questions.
Here’s what I found interesting. When I submitted the proposal, I said that we would be discussing the different social media tools and how they can help businesses boost their visibility and online engagement. These people were beyond the basics; they wanted tools and information about strategy. We delivered that and more.
Allow me to speak on my team for a second. I knew they were cool and knowledgeable from previous interactions, but these people are really amazing. The chemistry we had as a group was great, and I’m looking for more opportunities to present as a team. So, if you learn of such opportunities, let me know.
In the meantime, enjoy the pics!
Did you make it to our presentation? Do you have any questions about social media that we can answer for you?
