I’ve always been big on dreams, as I’ve been really working on my mine for the past five years. For some reason, though, the theme of “dreams” is heavier on my heart this year.
I think this is happening for three reasons. First, I think mine are going to manifest in unexpected and amazing ways this year. Second, I want to encourage people to make their dreams come true. Third, one of my goals is to be a speaker, so I guess I’ll start my speaking career with this topic.
So, here’s what I’ll be doing to make my dreams come true during the month of January.
Focus on ONE Goal
While researching how to get anything you want in life for an article I’d like to write, I ran across the Miracle Mind Method by Chris Cains, Personal Success Coach, Speaker.
He advises to focus in ONLY 1 goal you want to accomplish in the next 30 days and write down five actions you need to take to make it happen. Read all of the details here.
Rejection Therapy
I’ll also be practicing rejection therapy during the month of January. I learned about this game after watching Jia Jang’s Ted Talk about rejection.
Essentially, you have to do at least one thing per day with the possibility of being rejected. The actions could be as simple as requesting something that is not on a restaurant’s menu or striking up a conversation with a stranger.
Rejection therapy does two things: First, it gives you the courage to do things you probably wouldn’t do. Second, it gets you closer to your desires.
