My Reaction to “O”‘s Taping

I know I’m a little late with this but I’m still trying to recover from the star-struck evening.

How could one not be amazed at having Aretha Franklin, Madonna, Maya Angelou, Patti LaBelle and Stevie Wonder on the same stage?!!! For FREE.  Then, Michael Jordan, Tom Hanks, Jerry Seinfeld, Alicia Keyes, Tyler Perry, Will & Jada and Jamie Foxx!!!

And the mighty men or Morehouse College really impressed me. These young brothas were dressed up, clean cut and looked very distinguished. There were a couple guys that looked like they should have been in Spike Lee’s School Daze. Hilarious.

Then, I found FREE parking on the street approximately one block away from the entrance. The cheapest parking rate I saw was $17.00. How great was that?

It’s always great to have great company. I want to thank Dequiana Brooks for thinking highly enough about me to invite me to the O Show.

There was one thing missing. Me! But, I figure the ending of O will leave room for me in some capacity. I know there’s an opportunity, I just have to figure it out.
