It was humbling to interview Le’ah Tatum, author of Shadows of the Night, for the Chicago Independent Bulletin newspaper. This eleven-year-old has written two books as part of the Chicago Public Library’s Chicago Children’s Book Writing Month 30-day writing challenge with the support of her family and Ruby Chapman, the children’s librarian at Brainerd Branch library.
