My buddy, Kenneth Worthington, died yesterday and my heart is broken. I spoke to him last night and learned that he was gone this morning.
He was one of the most smartest, talented and coolest people in my life. He was a painter and photographer and played the sax. He loved technology and used his skills to create amazing things.
We first met at a church function over 10 years ago and we’ve been connected ever since. K Dub was also a mentor and supporter. He always said, “Ms. Hill, you have to focus on one thing, start getting paid for that and the start something else.” I’m trying to adhere to this advice. Really, I am.
So, I’m still tripping because I talked to him last night.
With that said, I want to encourage you to ditch excuses and start living your life and dreams in 2016 because tomorrow is not promised.
Ouch!
I’m so sorry to learn of your loss. Yes, so often we hear “live life today (or something similar)” and we never do because we don’t believe it. Then came 9/11. Then came the passing of your friend.
A good reminder. A strong, sad yet power-full reminder.
