I was reading The Adweek Copywriting Handbook by Joseph Sugarman and was overly blessed. You would think this blessing came from his expertise on how to become a better copywriter. It wasn’t. My blessing came from a story he shared about HOW he got something he wanted that was seemingly out of his financial reach at that time.
Mr. Sugarman recalled his desire for a home he wanted that he didn’t think he could afford. His friend told him to “hold marketing seminars at the place, turn it into a business…Write off the entire property and even make a profit.” That totally blessed my spirit for two reasons. First, that piece of advice answered a few questions I had been pondering for a while. Second, it addressed a couple of visions on my vision board.
The moral of the story:
- God will give you everything you need on your purpose path.
- You just never know from where the answers for your questions will come. You have to keep your eyes and mind open. You will not only get answers; you will also see new opportunities.
- You get so many blessings from reading.
And I did get great copywriting tips from Mr. Sugarman.
Have you ever been blessed by something you read? We’d love to hear your experience.
