Happy 2020! I’m back in blogging mode and still don’t know what I’m going to blog about. Honestly, that’s why it took so long for me to return…I need direction.
In my last post published in December, I shared that I’m bored with writing and blogging about writing and blogging. But here are a few things I’ve pondered:
1. Returning to the essence of my writing life by sharing resources and unknown and little known facts.
2. Asking questions and trying to answer them through credible sources.
3. Discussing online trending topics and in-person conversations with individuals.
4. Random subjects.
Here’s the biggest challenge at this time: a lack of consistency in topics. My topics are going to vary because of my lack of direction. However, I’m sure a pattern will manifest that will provide clarity.
As I stated before, I hope you stay with me on this journey of transition; but if you don’t, I understand.

Hi Marcie, it is so awesome to see your beautiful face. I have missed you.
It is very difficult to blog as a teacher non-stop. And you have been doing this for a few years now! We are always taught we need to give our readers “value” or they go away. But sometimes that value is personal not just business.
In the art world I don’t just teach my quilling, I share a photo of my messy studio and watch all the “there’s no way I could quilling like that!” comments roll (pun intended, hehe) in. I don’t just follow you because you give me sound advice. I like Marcie. Just knowing you and your passion gives my life value. I knew nothing about skating history in Chicago until you!
Why not organize your posts around your topics? If you blog every other week let item 1, 2, & 3 be the first post of the month. Very business like. Then item 4 be the second post. Friendly. Excited to share about life – not just business.
You are so amazing and I’m honored to call you a friend.
Hey Lisa! Thank you for stopping through. It’s great to hear from you. And thanks for the kind words and the advice about the posts. I have a few ideas and have been considering blogging about them, but again, I’m questioning the fit of the topics. I guess the only way to find out how my readers receive them is to post them. I’ll give it a shot next week.
And where can I find the photos of your work? I would love to see more of you do.
I, too, am honored to call you a friend. Have a great weekend.
Thank you, Marcie, for asking about my work! My website is more about teaching and demos. My facebook page has lots of pix! https://www.facebook.com/Never.Bored.Creations/
