How The Movie,The Ugly Truth, Helped Me

I watched The Ugly Truth and  was intrigued by the character, Mike Chadway, played by Gerard Butler. Not for reasons most people would think.

Don’t get me wrong, Chadway was handsome with his rugged good looks and charm.  But his in-your-face personality and brutal honesty about relationships from a male  point of view and wit made him absolutely irresistible. He even had men wanting to hear what he had to say.

The traits that Chadway displayed as a TV personality are the same qualities I am going to adopt in my ventures. He educated and entertained with the truth and his personality. He turned touchy topics into conversations.  I am going to do the same thing with racism, sexism, media images and other inequalities that are still being practiced today.

I have wit and charm. I can educate and entertain. Now, I just need to begin. I’ll surprise you one day!
