This is my last official post for 2018 as I am taking a break through January. However, I will post if something needs to be shared immediately. Before I go, I want to look back at my 2018 accomplishments and share what to look forward to in 2019.

2019 Goals
- Conduct live webinars on topics pertaining to content creation, blogging, freelance writing and other things I’ve learned that can position people for success
- Change the cost of my 62 Blog Posts to Overcome Blogger’s Block book and companion guide. Here’s the deal. You buy the book for $30 and get the workbook free. The companion guide is $15. There is a $5 shipping fee.
- Starting in March 2018, I am going to blog the first 10 posts in my book. Why am I doing this? To ensure I blog 10 weeks in a row. And to encourage other people to blog consistently for 10 weeks in a row. Let me know if you want to join me on this challenge.
- I also plan to be more consistent with sending my newsletter. I was on a bi-monthly schedule and did not do a good job at publishing. I’ll probably switch to a quarterly schedule.
- My email writing course is almost done, so I’ll be looking for training opportunities at corporations, nonprofit associations, government agencies, educational institutions and any other organization that wants to improve the email writing skills of their staff or members. My training can be done virtually on in-person.
- Earn my Distinguished Toastmasters Designation
Wrapping Up
- If you want to start blogging next year, my Blogging Success for New Bloggers online course and workbook can help you plan your blog before you start to ensure your blog lasts longer than a year.
- My book, How to Write a Powerful Professional Bio, provides tips and tools on how to create a memorable bio.
- Are you considering embarking on a freelance writing journey? My book, The 7 Practices of Highly Underpaid Freelance Writers, will put you on the path of confidence and profits. You don’t have to be a starving artist.
- You can still purchase How We Roll t-shirts from www.realskatestories.com/store.
- If you want to create different types of content for your online properties, my 62 Blog Posts to Overcome Blogger’s Block book and companion guide can help.
- Let me know if you want to share your business or venture on What Matters to Ms. Marcie.
Thank you for supporting me. Have a wonderful and blessed holiday and prosperous new year. See you in 2019!
