Glenn Reedus, editor of South Suburban News (http://www.southsnews.com), is truly heaven sent. Let me tell you why.
When I was completing my biz plan for the MillerCoors Business Plan Writing Competition, he always responded to my pleas for research assistance. Always. But here’s something even more amazing. A couple weeks ago I was thinking about where to find internet usage statistics, and he sent me a resource out of the blue! Seriously. I had not put that request outside of my thought processes, and he answered it.
Also, his feedback to my ventures are always timely, which is greatly appreciated. His responses tend to come at times when I’m doubting, questioning, or on the verge of discouragement. He uplifts and encourages me, and doesn’t even know it most times.
One last thing, he recommended the book, Defining Visions, when I was looking for a resource highlighting media practices. I bought that book for $.01 on the day he recommended it. The information from that book has helped me clearly define the content on my blog, As NOT Seen on TV.
So, Glenn, I want to thank you for being my journalism angel. You have helped me more than you would ever know.
