I am gaining a better understanding of lighting in photography. I had my first official photo shoot as a professionally rookie, and as I looked at the indoor and outdoor shots, there was a noticeable difference. And, I am learning more about F-stops and ISOs. Once I get that under my belt, I should be good.
I am seriously considering pup and product photography. People are cool. But, I think I would have more fun with pups. As for products, this came to mind as photographed my mothers tissue box holders and my handmade scrapbook pages and greeting cards. I also offered to shoot someone’s gift baskets. That is not a bad idea. I just have to get the kit, lights and prices. I also have to learn how to create backdrops, which shouldn’t be too hard with a little consultation with photographers and viewing magazines.
I stated out as a photojournalist….but my want/need for a log house on the side of a mountain soon got the best of me.
I then headed back to college to get a degree in Computer programming.
I know some great tricks for backgrounds, and I still may have a link you may find interesting.
If you want to e-mail me I’ll give you the link and a couple tips.
