Generally, I’m a humble individual and really do not like asking people for money. I am quickly getting over this with my upcoming crowdfunding campaign. My goal of a published book is 98% complete; however, I need your help to reach home stretch.
The image above shows you how crowdfunding works. Essentially, a large group of people who are interested in a specific project will contribute small sums of money, sometimes as little as $1, to help the creator achieve his or her goal. This is really popular in with creative community.
While I was conducting research on different project, it was amazing how generous people are. One blogger asked for $2,000 and raised $13,000! That is the power of asking, y’all!
Which is what I’m doing.
My book, 62 Blog Posts to Overcome Blogger’s Block, is already published on Kindle. The campaign will help get the book and companion guide published.
