As I turn a year older, I can honestly say that I’m truly blessed. I have my friends, family, health and dreams.
The worst thing going on in my life right now is my car is on life-support, which really isn’t a totally bad thing. It’s just a sign that I need a new ride. Hope (that’s my car’s name) is a 19-year old Toyota Corolla. We had good times. It’s time to come into this new millennium.
The biggest blessing of all is that my mother came through surgery last year and she is back to herself. As we listen to other people’s stories, we really have nothing to complain about.
The second biggest blessing that resulted from a sad situation is that I have my sisters. We are growing closer and getting together more after the death of our father. They are smart, beautiful, talented and as sweet as can be. My sister, Tina, was not there.
And most of all, I am blessed to have people who support me in my endeavors. There are too many to name. That’s another blog post for another day.
I do have to mention the following people who bless people and don’t want public acknowledge: Mr. Green, Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Monroe. I cannot thank these people enough for their help and belief in me and what I do.
However, I would like to give a SUPER shout out to social media pals that have been absolutely amazing.
As for goals achieved:
- My book, 62 Blog Posts to Overcome Blogger’s Block, was published. The workbook is in progress.
- I published my book, How to Write a Powerful Professional Bio, on Kindle, Nook and Smashwords.
- My article, How to Write Captivating Bios, was published in Forbes.
- I’m currently working on a new eBook which is going to be an Amazon best seller. Hopefully, it’ll be published before the end of this month.
- I have a new idea that I’m working on. One of my biggest supporters gave me the names of the people who can help get me started. I hope to have that in place by October.
So, um…yeah. Life is good and I cannot complain. And thanks for your support, friendship and good vibes.
