Starting the week of March 17th, I will embark upon a 6 Week Blogger’s Block Challenge, where I will produce a different type of blog post each week, and would like for you to join me.
My goal for doing this is to practice what I preach. When I presented at NMX, the attendees said that they wanted to see more of me in my presentation. So, they inspired this project.
There are two goals for participants:
- To help you develop a consistent blogging schedule;
- To help expand your creativity and technical skills.
Instructions for Participating in the 6 Week Blogger’s Block Challenge
1. Purchase your Kindle copy of 62 Blog Posts to Overcome Blogger’s Block.
You’ll need the book to determine the types of blog posts you want to create during the challenge. You can buy it now on Amazon.
2. Compose a different post type each week.
For example, I will write a “How-To” post for week one; create a photo post for week 2; and write a gratitude post for week 3. The post types have to be different each week. You cannot write a “How-To” post for six weeks.
3. You have to post on your blog at least once a week.
The days can vary. The goal is to ensure that you post.
4. Choose topics of your choice.
You can select a theme for those six weeks or write whatever you feel. It’s entirely up to you.
5. Don’t sweat word count.
Write what you feel. If you don’t feel like writing, use photos, video and audio to relay your message.
6. Let us help share your posts.
