The Writing Life of Marcie Hill: Marcie’s Lessons – August 2010

Posted on September 14, 2010 by Ms. Marcie

Marcie's Life Lessons

  1. Like Sporty King says, “What you think of me is not my concern.”
  2. Making the best 1st impression is crucial from the biggest to the littlest person
  3. There will come times in life where the only thing you have is your name and your word
  4. Live each day as if it were your last but use common sense with it.  Don’t go out and max out your credit card
  5. Learn something new every day
  6. Try to live a life with no regrets
  7. Time spent with people closest to you is worth more than anything money can buy
  8. Try your best to stay away from negative people, people who are always in the business of others and people who are not working toward anything or not working at all
  9. Know the difference between religion and spirituality
  10. As long as you have breath in you, you can make your dream come true
  11. It’s OK to blow money every now and then as long as all of your required expenses are covered
  12. Do not be content with where you are in life.  Greater opportunities await

    …Interesting list of lessons. I agree with #s 7, 11 and 12.

Thanks for stopping through. I really love what Sporty King said, “What you think of me is not my concern.” Unfortunately, people tend to get caught up in what others think and fail to move forward in their endeavors.” Even Pastor Hannah said in his book that successful people move pass what others think and say about them. So, I feel totally empowered by these two gentlemen.
