I think Awesome Screenshot is THE best free tool ever! Let me tell you why.
1. It allows you to capture the image you see on the screen or the ENTIRE webpage. Very few tools would offer full-page screen shots for free.
2. You can add shapes, text and lines.
3. You can save the image and e-mail it or you can save it online. However, if you wanted to download the image immediately, you can right-click, “Save image as” if using Firefox, name the file and save.
I know it’s available for Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome; I’m not sure about Internet Explorer. If you can get it, download it. It comes in handy, especially for professionals that need to include images in their projects.
What About You?
Do you use Awesome Screenshot? Do you like?
Don’t use it? Then, which program do you use to capture screenshots?
What a handy little gadget. This is cool beans and right on time. I was turning in an article for a client yesterday and my Print Screen shots were fuzzy. I’m not sure why and decided not to obsess about it, but I’m geeked-up about incorporating this baby into my content publishing and what-not. Thanks, lady! Stay warm… somehow.
Hi Sorilbran. I’m glad I could help you out. I love it! It is so convenient and easy to use.
