Another Reason Why I Don’t Want My Photos on Facebook

Posted on November 30, 2009August 23, 2012 by Ms. Marcie

This is a follow-up to my previous post on Why I Don’t Want My Photos on Facebook.

It has been recorded that Facebook has over 300 million users which exceeds the size of many countries. Don’t people realize that FB is a prime target for hackers and identity theft? AND, people would go after that first just because of its size.

My friend said that only her friends can see photos on her page.  Please! Online security is an oxymoron. For all the security measures that are being taken to attempt to protect online identities and information, there are students with class assignments  and people with idle minds that can hack into accounts.

Oh, one more thing. I have a friend who hacks into different programs for fun. I don’t know what is done after the hacking; I just know that the security of some program is breached.

This is yet another reason why I don’t want any non-career related photos on FB.
