I had a great opportunity to speak with Vicki Ward, award-winning author and CEO of Nubian Images Publishing Company, about her two books, current projects at Nubian Images, and upcoming projects. Listen to our interview below.
Have you experienced any of Vicki’s works? Share them in the comment section below. We would love to hear them.
Interesting interview Marcie. I am going to hop right on over and check out Vicki Wards site right now!
It was a pleasure speaking to Vicki. Please be sure to check her out.
Marcie,
I enjoyed the interview and learning more about Vicki. As you mentioned, she and I have had the opportunity to collaborate in the past, and I am a fan of her work! And what a lovely voice. 🙂
Thanks for sharing this!
Jennifer, thank you for the recommendation. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I purchased Life’s Spices From Seasoned Sistahs six years ago,and found the stories from women very inspirational and real. In 2011 I purchased Savvy,
Sassy and Bold After 50 which was really an eye opener for me in terms of getting serious with my retirement planning and more. These books are provide the information women need to improve their lives and grow. I have recommended both of them to my friends.
Tori Turner
Welcome Toria! Thank you for stopping by and providing your thoughts on these two books. What did you do differently as a result of reading these books?
I actually spoke to a financial planner with papers from my human resources department and got a real boost, and good advice. That first step felt great.
Toria, thank you for sharing how Vicki’s books inspired you to action. Be sure to tell others about them. And, if you feel compelled to do so, you are welcome to write a book review for my site.
Interviewing with Marcie of Marcie Writes was a pleasure in several ways. She is an engaging interviewer and is well prepared for her guests. Her questions allowed me to discuss my books and the impact they have on my women. The other pleasure is that I have received emails from sistahs who went to the website to check out the books, and several more who read the reviews on Amazon.com and decided to purchase my books. Marcie brings her topics great perspective, and I am glad she is there to represent.
Vicki, thank you for taking the time to interview with me. I love interviewing and allowing people to share their stories and “brag” on their accomplishments. Many people are humble about what they do. So humble, in fact, that they don’t spread the word about their successes which is a missed opportunity for them and their audience. Keep doing what you do and let me know if I can help.
