I am pleased to share that I wrote my very first poem, and it rhymed! While the contents will not allow me to share with other, I am elated that it rhymed!
Poetry, grant writing, comedy writing and a few other creative projects were on my list of things to accomplish this year. I can now remove humor writing and poetry from my list, and keep moving forward.
As for humor writing, I have a couple humor writing books and I’m in a sketch comedy writing class at Second City. I feel accomplished. There are two more classes in the comedy writing series and I’ll be done. I feel Improv coming on next term. This will help with the sketches we complete in class AND my Toastmasters speeches.
