I mentioned that I wanted to add comedy/humor writing, grant writing and poetry writing to my writing toolbox. Well, I enrolled in Second City comedy writing classes for the next term, and can’t wait to begin. I’m taking this class at the advice of a young lady who was a writer on The Emperor’s New School. I can’t think of her name right now. But, I’m glad we had the chance to chat.
University of Chicago is offering a creative writing class and a poetry class. I’m trying to get information on those. I am praying for a scholarship or financial aid. I’ll let you know what happens.
That will only leave a grant writing class. Gotta get that going before the end of this year. Actually, if I can be an apprentice to someone, I can learn from them. From my understanding, it really isn’t that hard to write one. So, we’ll see.
