I forgot to mention one of the most of the important facts about the preview last night. The largest theater in the place was packed and people had to be turned away. The 10:00 a.m. preview was filled as well. I wasn’t there, so I can’t speak on that. But I can say that neither sold out crowd was seen on TV.

I reached out to them all. These are positive things going on in our community. Despite of it all, the community showed up anyway.
No worries about your attempts to contact the media. They will start accepting your releases in the near future. If not, there are plenty of bloggers that specialize in movies. Start researching them and building rapport now, so when you start working on your next project, you’ll already have that connection. One last suggestion if you have not thought of it yet – send handwritten thank you notes to the day care centers and camps that came out. Brownie points.
