All Content Begins with Writing

All Content Begins with Writing

All content begins with writing. I’m not just saying this because I believe it so. I’m saying it because it is so. Following are a few examples of the power of writing.

Writing is the first step in bringing an idea to life. You have to write the vision and make it plain.

No movie is produced without a script.

No books are published without manuscripts.

No invention is created without concepts being explained.

Organizations could not profit without marketing, advertising and sales messages.

Society used to have a semblance of order with written laws.

There would be no stories for print journalists.

Websites and blogs would not exist without content.

Social media would not be social without updates and personal interactions.

Written letters is one of the surest ways to let people know how you feel.

Pictures are worth a thousand words, but words are sometimes needed to explain the visuals.

I wanted to share this because I’ve been thinking about the power of words and writing. And I want you to remember this one thing: all content begins with writing.

I totally agree with this list and I too believe in the power of writing. Words play a huge role in stating and changing the narrative.

Not sure how I stumbled here but I’m liking it so far. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for reading, Yemisi. I find that people are trying to dismiss the power of writing, but all communications begin and end with the written and spoken word.

    Hey Marcie,

Writing is so ubiquitous it can somehow go unnoticed. Love your thoughts here.

As a writer, it shocks me how little people respect the written word. As you say, it is the foundation of all that comes after. Luckily those of us who write, couldn’t stop if we tried.

I love when fellow scribes share their insights. Thanks for stopping by, Devon.
