I am happy to report that I’ve earned my Advanced Communicator Silver (ACS) in Toastmasters. This is the third communication designation, and second advanced communication designation.
To earn my ACS, I had to complete 10 speeches from Advanced Communication manuals and two educational modules. I had been trying to complete my last educational module for nearly two months but I missed the last three meetings for workshops and personal events.
In addition to completing this personal goal, my speech helped the club get its 10th point on the Distinguished Club Program. Clubs need nine points to become President’s Distinguished, but we wanted a perfect score and got it.
Allow me to brag on my club, MJM Speakers’ Circle, for a minute.
The president called me last Tuesday to ask if I could come to his house on Friday to complete my presentation. He wanted to get that last point. Uh, yeah.I want to complete this designation and move forward.
He sent an email to members to serve as audience members because there three people were needed. Three people respond to the call and we reached out goal. #MJMRocks!
You work so hard and you deserve to “BOAST” your achievement. Congratulations, Ms. Marcie Hill!
You are an inspiration!
Thanks Clara. Thanks for being a constant source of support.
