I am on a mission to have in-person “getting to know you” conversations with my online connections, including my blog readers.
As you know, there is more to people than what we read on their social media profiles.
Why is This Important?
Online is nice; in-person is better. Also, people do business with people they know, like and trust. A short conversation can open doors to more opportunities because your connections will keep you in mind as they arise.
For example, I spoke with my LinkedIn connection Tina Swain and learned that she is looking for speaking engagements on relationships, empowerment/transformation, and leadership/entrepreneurship. If I hear or read about call for speakers, she’ll come to mind.
My buddy Mitch Mitchell helps hospitals make money; speaks and trains on leadership; has written two books on leadership; and help people grow their social media presence. I forgot on which social site we first connected, but I know everything I know about Mitch because we spoke in-person.
What Are We Discussing?
Projects we are working on now and how we can help each other.
Our Calls Are NOT
- Sales calls. It’s a conversation on helping each other.
- Interviews…unless you would like me to interview you for posting on your site.
How Are We Communicating?
I would love to have video chats via Skype or Google Hangout. When that’s not possible, phone calls are my second preference. Email conversations are least preferred.
What’s Next?
Let’s schedule a time to chat. Complete the contact form and we’ll go from there.
